I hope everyone went and had a good Christmas and New Years, I sure did.

Something a little different, this was a commission from my friend John for his lovely wife. A nice little christmas gift based on their two cats. She is a big viking/Thor fan, hence the lightning and valkyrie look. I think if I'd had more time I would have loved to make this more accurate, but instead the armour is pretty stereotypical. I have heard it went down well though!

I am amazed I managed to finish this at all, as I have never had so little time to myself before. Latter half of 2007 = INSANE. I think that's a good thing. When you can say you have too many jobs to draw for, that's time to start feeling good about the career choice at last.

I'm not precisely sure what you're looking for in an advnaced crit since this had such very specific perameters and was a gift , so I'm just going to say fabulous, I love it, and leave it at that if it's alright by you

Thanks man! With the advanced critique thing, I basically just don't like having the choice on DA on whether or not we get crit. I just think, hey here's my artwork up in a public place and if people want to say they like it or not, they can. The more critique I get, the more I learn and/or toughen up to the fact that my work isn't perfect and that other people will spot my problems before I do. I dunno, I just think it's good to always be open to it!
