Good god it's been a while since I did much here. I pop onto the site when I can (I'm not missing out on your pretty pictures if I can help it), but I've even been useless on the old email. I'm desperate to catch up with people and start posting work again.

Let's see, I'm still working full time at the comic shop and fitting in my drawing in the evenings/lunch breaks. Trying to balance this job and the freelance work has been a bit of a headache. A happy headache, but I do worry a bit about pissing off editors with not being able to draw during the daytime for them. They have all been lovely so far but, well, I still worry. Makes me extra frustrated when I can't complete something faster! Thankfully I have :iconbuml0r: assisting me.

I wish I had a better reason for Nemesis Fleet not being finished yet. All I can say is, huh, I've been super busy working on things that I can't really post here. That's rubbish! It's not that they are super secret and exciting (oh okay one might be and I can't bloody wait to post some of that), but it's just stuff not published yet. That I'm not supposed to talk about. Uuugh.

So there's not a lack of productivity here, just too much to do and no idea what to finish first. I'll post some sketches tonight.

Next update: Abby bitches about people who say cartoony art is lazy and cheap. RGHGRHRGH.

Hi, thanks for adding me as a friend! I really like your work! I see that you do a lot of work for Panini and other British comics publishers. I'm just about to start my final year of a BA Sequential Illustration course and I'd love to know more about submitting work to those kinds of publishers. A bit, I've done some work for children's magazines and it's a lot of fun. But I don't have much spare time to look for work. I should be constantly sending out my portfolio to editors all the time.

How's the agent working out? I would love to get one (for the above reason) but I don't know where to look to be honest.

I'm in the process of getting into freelance work (been with an agent since last year) and also trying to work on my own comic project too - Have you had much luck with your comics work? It's somthing I'm still struggling to break into and I'm always interested to hear success stories :)

Hallo there! Yeah, I did a couple of pages back when it was starting off. Then I had to get a bit stuck into all the olde uni work. :D

I've been doing some freelance illustration work while also selling comic books, and of course trying to get my own comic sorted out. It leaves you awfully busy and a bit shattered!
